Garland Corkhead Frog Or Minnow Lure Florida Vintage Tackle 1930s Rare Heddon :
FLORIDA GARLAND CORK HEAD LURE ~ Frog this bait is nearly impossible to find and I've had this one in my collection for years ... I havent seen one for sale in a long long time .Here we have the frog finish GARLAND CORK HEAD MINNOW or commonly called the "CORK HEAD FROG". These lures were made by Garland Bros. of Plant City, Florida for only a very limited time between 1934 and 1940. These rare lures are prized by frog collectors as well as those that collect Florida baits. These baits have cork heads attached to wooden bodies that measure about 3 1/2 inches. They have tack eyes and you rarely find one of these with great paint on them. A long screw, starting at the line tie, passes through the cork head and into the wood body, which keeps the head secure. Here is your chance to own this SCARCE bait...don't let it slip away! Make sure to look at the pictures to see the condition of these impossible-to-find lures.
