Garnet from Alabama Gold Mine Area near Lake Martin I-085:

This little garnet was found in the Lake Martin area in Tallapoosa County Alabama. It is not translucent as some of the more red garnets found around Guntersville Lake Al. but has a soft pink to light brown color and is opaque. Nice little find.
