This is a lovely, vintage style garnet and 14K yellow gold pendant measuring 15/16 inch (24.5 MM) long including the bail by 3/8 inch (11.8 MM) wide. It comes with a 19 inch long 14K yellow gold cable chain with a lobster claw lock. The pendant is prong set with a center, full cut, fully faceted .80CT oval brilliant garnet measuring 7 MM by 5 MM by 3 MM deep. It is surrounded, halo style with ten (10) full cut, fully faceted, round brilliant garnets totaling 1.50CTS. That makes the total in genuine, nicely matched, deep, rich, red gems with no chips or cracks 2.30CTS. The pendant features filigree details and is solid and well made with a gallery for structure and finished look. It is marked, tested and guaranteed 585, and the chain is marked, tested and guaranteed 14K. There is a minor repair to the chain that is not overtly obvious on the neck and is mentioned for accuracy. The necklace and has been professionally cleaned and brightly polished and weighs 4.9 grams. It might also make a great gift for that someone special with a January birthday as that month\'s birthstone is the garnet. 22914
