This is a beautiful, pristine example of the \"Red Parasol\" Gene Marshall doll created in a limited edition of 50 for a special event held at Cherished Friends doll shop in Pennsylvania. Gene wears a red taffeta version of the elaborately constructed \"Girouette\" dress from the 1948 Dior collection. Not so much as the ribbons on the inside logo paper have been undone to keep this boxed doll in it\'s flawless, brand new condition. Any photos in this ad showing more than the face and neck of the doll peeping over the papers have been taken from other sources. In it\'s original shipping and presentation boxes with her shoes, jewelry and pink \'satin\' wrap still in their cellophane envelopes. As close to going back in time to buy this gorgeous doll as possible.
