I am selling a unique hand made bag in the Art Nouveau style. It is dated 1911 and initialled \'V.A.N\'. The material is a patterned metalic brocade with a matching cord. The embroidery is in silk and depicts water lilies and other flowers, the reverse has a heraldic crest with lion and Fleur de Lys. It measures 28.5 cm in depth and 31 cm in width. The chord length is 140 cm. This is a lovely item that someone has made for themself- it would have been very fashionable. It is well made and the condition is good, there is an occasional loose thread but it is basically very good condition. This is a great historical piece.
