A pretty composition and cloth doll with a history that is unknown to me. I\'ll describe the best I can.

1. Mohair wig looks to be original and is in pretty good shape.

2. Composition on face looks good. She has all lashes and 2 front teeth with a red tongue in back of teeth, coloring on face looks nice. Hair in pony tails with ribbons.

3. The neck flange has been glued into the body whichlooks like it originally had a shoulder head glued to the body. Now hard dried small pieces of paint and celluloid pieces.

The body seems intact except for a very small tear in back of arm where it is jointed to the compositionand there are some brown age marks. There is writing on the back of body. What I make out is Genuine Madame Hendrendoll 17/20 made in U.S.A. There is a crier in the back but it does not work. The wire to hold the legs on has come through but it is not sharp, very smooth. Arms are pretty good but fingers are barely there on both hands. the legs are pealing paint that flecks off legs and feet.

The clothes are not original but an infant pajama suit and the little slippers are very vintage Japan with a paper tag inside.
