Georg Jensen Rosebud pattern Coffee set. The Jensen book says the Rosebud coffee set pattern was designed by Georg Jensen in 1917 but not created in silver until about 1940-3. This is a rare pattern and a super hard to find. Here is the chance to own a 3 piece set. I suggest you search for a Jensen Rosebud Coffee set before you offer on this one. This set is priced to sell considering how rare the pattern and pieces are.
The Jensen coffee pot hallmark on the bottom is stamped 235A. The sugar bowl and creamer are hallmarked on the bottom and stamped 235C. The hallmark on all 3 pieces is the traditional dotted oval with Georg Jensen lettered inside the oval, and stamped Denmark and Sterling
These pieces have seen very little use and are in very nice condition. They have not been recently polished, I will leave that to the purchaser to do.
These measurements are close but not exact.The creamer measures 3 3/8long x 2 7/8 tall x 1 3/4\" acrossThe sugar bowl 3\" long x 1 3/4 wide x 1 7/8\" tall not counting the handleThe coffee pot 5 1/2 \" tall x 3\" across the middle the lid opening is 1 3/4 across.The lid fits very snug. The handle is tight. There is a tiny ding in the spout and a scratch on the body which will buff out, a mm wide and 2mm horizontal gouge on the bottom rim of the coffee pot. This gouge is deep and will not buff out but it is barelynoticeable when the pot is sitting upright.I don\'t see anyother issues with any of thepieces.Please look closely at my pictures and ask questions before you purchase, sales are final.buyers outside of the United States please contact me prior to offerding toarrange payment and verify shipping arrangements, there are some places I will not ship to.
