Georg Jensen Danish Sterling Silver 1954 Christmas Spoon by Michelsen. This spoon features red, white and blue enamel. The original box is in poor condition. Spoon has a bit of tarnish. I have not tried to polish it. Perfect condition. a beautiful Mid-Century Modern addition to your collection.

The Anton Michelsen Silversmithy was founded in 1841. It was bought by the Royal Copenhagen in 1968. Royal Copenhagen purchased Georg Jensen as well, and Michelsen was gradually merged with Jensen. Today only the annual forks and spoons bear the Michelsen name.
