This seminal desk was designed in 1946, paving the road for modern office design. Nelson\'s desk re-imagined and redefined working spaces, such that its presence remains pertinent and relevant today. A important piece in American design history. Our example is from the 1950s and is in very good vintage condition. Age-appropriate wear to the leather surface, with some discoloration to the right side of the roll-top.Floating back features leather covered doors with shelves inside. Fold-out compartment extends the work surface and reveals ultra roomy pullout drawers and additional shelving within. Perforated steel file holder in our example has scarce, rarely seen leather cover. Tubular chrome plated steel hardware and legs support this system with air and grace. •DOMESTIC LONG-DISTANCE DELIVERY
Items are securely blanket wrapped and delivered inside the home. Shipments generally take 7-10 business days. While we do our best to provide accurate quotes, some items of greater value require additional insurance and handling costs; in such cases we reserve the right to adjust the final delivery charge.
•INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY
We ship world-wide. Offering door-to-door delivery services for all of the items in our inventory. All items are shipped insured, customs and taxes may apply additionally to shipping charges. •LOCAL DELIVERY
We offer blanket-wrapped local delivery in the New York City area. Delivery ranges from $85-$250 depending on the item\'s weight, size, and destination. Your new item is delivered inside your home, unwrapped, and furniture legs are reattached if necessary. - Terms Terms All items are sold as-is. All sales are final. There are no refunds, returns, or exchanges. We do our best to faithfully describe the condition of items; but it is expected that our vintage or antique items have age-appropriate marks of wear, and we strongly encourage items to be physically inspected prior to purchase. Unless prior arrangements are made with OAM, all items unclaimed in excess of seven days will be subject to a surcharge of $25/day. Any items left unclaimed for more than thirty days will become the property of OAM.
