At first I was corner that the various concentric circles would create a flimsy structure, but after receiving I found the are connected by inconspicuous metal rods. The whole thing is very sturdy. The only complaint I would share is the minute hand is very difficult to see, especially from a distance. It takes a while getting used to reading it. Otherwise, it\'s a fine addition to any mid-century modern room.
