This style of desk was called a \"George Washington\" desk after the original, now in the New York City Hall - FDR also had one as president.

The gleaming finish is in excellent condition. Heavy brass pulls are original on this vintage furniture, there are letter or document shelves at the ends. Delicate legs are reeded on this sophisticated American made desk. The makers label is lost.

Size is 5\' long, 3\' deep, 36\" tall, the writing surface is 30\" high and the knee hole is 23\" wide and 23 1/2\" high.
