I just purchase this from an estate sale, my knowledge of this is at almost zero, I\'ve tried looking up and getting any information, so far I believe it\'s from Germany although it looks like a French bayonet also. there\'s not very many marking on this bayonet as I have seen on others, I added many pictures so you can see what I have. again please know that I\'m thinking its from Germany if anyone has any information PLEASE let me knowso I canupdate that informationThank You.

Blade is 11 1/2 inches longby 1 inch tallby 1/4 thick, there are no marking on the blade.

Handle is 5 inches with no marking, release button functions properly Please look at pictures of some damage of wood missing on the handle.

The Handle guard is the only place there is markings of 12999 (see pictures) .

The Scabbard is made with leather/metal, there is a marking of M6836 (see pictures) it\'s 12 1/2 inches long.

Together with bayonet and scabbard it\'s 17 7/8 inches long.

I\'ve added many pictures so please asking any question you need before offerding, and for anyone who has more information on this pleaselet me know so I can add orcorrect on this listing. Thank You.

Someone inform me that this isa Brazilian M1908 Bayonet. I did check by Googling it and sure looks like he/she was right.Anyone offerding please know I can\'t change tidal due to sales has already started all I can do is add this as I\'m doing now.
