Selling a preowned German Christmas table topper / table cloth which is printed with Erzgebirge figures. These cloths were traditionally used on a table under the Christmas tree or the candle lit German Christmas windmill pyramid to protect the table top from dripping candle wax. Normally the \"wax catcher\" cloth was discarded after the holiday and a new one purchased the next year. This cloth is unused as the owner worked in a factory where these were made under the Communists in the old East Germany and she \"liberated\" a number of these from the factory many years ago. Colors are bright and unfaded. Designs are crisp and striking. Size is about 28\" square. Condition is very good, unused, colors are bright and unfaded.
