Scabbard measures 23 1/4\"
Bayonet total length is 28\"The scabbard is in Fair condition overall. It has rusting and pitting throughout. There are two grouping of dents on the same side as the serial number about 2\" and 3\" from the base. The base of the scabbard is stamped \"A 37927\". The serial numbers on the scabbard and guard do not match.The blade itself is in Fair condition as well. There are spots of rust on the tip and a few about 8\" and 10\" and 20\" down the blade on the side with the serial numbers. There is also an unknown substance about 3\" long on the top of the fuller grove. The blade has discoloration and pitting throughout. There is a large nick in the blade about 8\" from the tip and a few more much smaller ones a couple inches below that. The top of the blade reads \"Y. Funoke & Co Novbre 1867\" in cursive. The guard reads \"5244\" and \"Z 40. R.L. 3.1\"
