What a gorgeous quilt this one is!

Late 19th century

Five beautiful borders surround this \"Blazing Star\" quilt. Deep colors of turkey red, Cheddar and Green. This quilt has a very light cream colored background.

It is hand quilted at 6-7 stitches per inch.

It is treadle bound.

It measures 76\" x 66\"

This quilt has never been washed. There is some light age spotting from long term storage, a little fading to the fugitive green, one tiny, lentil size surface hole and a tiny seam opening near that, and there is spotting and tanning on the back and fold lines. (See photos.)

An incredible quilt, perfect for the collector. Would be amazing in a Adirondack Lodge, mountain cabin, or primitive antique setting.
