Fantastic machine age lamp! I have no clue who designed it but it\'s impressive. In years of collecting, I have never seen another even close in design. My favorite feature is the nickel plated cast iron base. Most lamps of this era have a rough cast weight with a sheet metal cover of some sort. This makes the bases prone to dents and dings. The solid one-piece cast base is impervious todents and dings!This significant lamp has a one-piece nickel plated cast iron base,then an uninterrupted brasspost,before transitioning to a dramatic spun aluminumshade with a \"coin\" edge. Pictures do not do it justice!

This lamp is likely 70-80 years old. It displays well butis not perfect. Thebase haswear anddiscoloration. Review pictures carefully. Ask questions before offerding. Local pick-up only. I will work with your shipper or I can deliver to a UPS store to be packed and shipped at your expense.
