You are offerding on a SENSATIONAL piece of Gillette history; a NEW DELUXE Criterion Open Comb Safety RazorSetSerial Number 5168 Date Code. The original gold plating has been removed and the BRASS below has been painstakingly hand polished to perfection.

NO BENT TEETH
The Brass is Bright and Shinny.
The top-cap screws and unscrews PERFECTLY smooth into the post handle insert.
The blade-guard is STRONGLY affixed to the handle without any wobble with the Serial Number 5168 stamped on the top of the blade-guard.
The Gillette Diamond Logo and MADE IN U.S.A. stamp on the underside of the blade-guard are deep and legible along with the patent date stamping on the base of the handle.
There is the typical and very slight handle crack, yet the handle is strongly attached and stable.
The blade-bank is in nice condition with no dents, yet slight areas of varnish discoloration over the gold plating.
The leather case is in poor aged condition, yet the lid opens and the hinges work perfectly well.
The razor has been sterilized in Barbicide and is shave-ready.
