DESCRIPTIONSTUNNING is a great way to describe this image of three girls playing with their doll and taking their dog for a stroll with their cart pulled by a goat. As an added bonus, this image is most likely illustrated by the iconic Frances Brundage.
To stand upright, pull the front panel to the right to reveal the vibrant red honeycomb which secures to the heavy cardstock.
The card is not marked but was most likely printed in Germany

MEASUREMENTS9 1/2\" H x 8 1/4\" W x 3 1/2\" D in open position

CONDITIONOverall, incredible condition. - the goat is missing a horn from the top of its head - the harness under the goat\'s head is separated where it connects at the neck - the bottom left corner of the card has been clipped - the metal clip that holds the honeycomb open is missing. Close scrutiny makes you wonder if one was ever attached. - a few honeycomb tips have been bent in from a finger during an attempt to secure the honeycomb in the open position - the colors are truly spectacular

Our private collection of more 300 fold out cards include mechanical cards that pop-up to display airplanes, cars, trains, ships, and children and/or animals in various scenes with Cupid. Some of the cards were acquired from the private collection of Evalene Pulati, founder of theNational Valentine Collectors Association.
We have NEVER purchased reproductions or cards that were \"harvested\" from vintage scrap books. The backside of each card is original and without glue damage. Most bends or tears to a card have been meticulously restored with age appropriate paper to help minimize depreciation of value. ALL cards have been stored on acid free foam core in a climate controlled Environment, and will be shipped to the new buyer with the acid free mount.
