Here\'s one awesome Art Deco 1930s (I think) glass kettle that would be a conversation piece for your Deco kitchen. One of these turns up once in a great while, but they are rather rare and unique. The metal (aluminum I think) cone with what I think is a Bakelite round tip is what makes it a whistling tea kettle. It hasn\'t been tested for whistling, but it should probably work just fine. More importantly, it is a beautiful display piece and I almost decided not to part with it. Measurements: 7.75\" H (to top of handle), 7 7/8\" diameter at base. It holds 10.5 cups up to 1/2\" below spout edge, so it\'s a 10-cup kettle. Condition: Very good on this unique glass kettle, with minor wear and a water stain on inside to left of \"Flamex\" and also on bottom, no chips or cracks (see all photos with magnifier as part of this description).
