Antique Gold Filigree French Ormolu Trinket Box with etched beveled glasspanels in \"bird and leaf\" motif,ring box casket. Best estimate is that this is from the 1870to 1910 period. On the bottom of the legs there appears to be the letter Bfollowed by 8652 (?) which is probably an original makers model number.

SIZE:2.75\" x 2.75\" x 2.25\"

CONDITION: Box appears to be in excellentcondition with very little wear. Silk lining appears original in still withstrong color and no fraying noted.

The extreme heat of the fire burns off the mercury and leaves a finecoat of gold over the object.
