Even with the missing pages, there are some incredibly cool stories, splash pages and artwork within. The missing pages are the first two leafs so the remainder is okay and does not have either the front or back cover.
Take a look at some of the splash pages in the pictures. There is no brittleness to the pages and all is quite readable.
