This is just a wonderful dog made by the German company Heyde around the turn of the last century. The dog is made of pot metal and cold painted. It may be a Golden Retriever. It has fantastic detail and a magnificent face! The dog comes from one of the finest American collections of dog motif items. Please see our other sales for more dogs from this collection.
The dog is in wonderful condition. There is no damage or loss. The period patina is intact and gorgeous. The dog is 4 1/2 inches (11.5 cm) long, and 2 1/4 inches (6 cm) tall.
This is a superb original Antique dog, and so very hard to find in today\'s market! Treat yourself or a loved one to a treasure to cherish for generations and one which will only increase in value over time!
