MADE IN SWITZERLAND IN MAY 188 THIS“PHOENIX INDESTRUCTIBLE” IS A VERY SOLID LARGE TIME PIECE THAT WEIGHS 295 GRAMS.DIAL/HANDS: Enamel. Shows hairlines and repair.Month - Day - Date andMoon-phase sub dials.Large Roman numerals.Deep blue steel hands and allmatching and correct.
MOVEMENT:“Phoenix Indestructible” running. Not monitored.SwissMade in May 1886 = 132 years old!Looksvery clean for it’s age.Jewel count unknown?The onlypin that is not working is for the month as it is stuck in?All the other pins operate as they should.Winds and sets smoothly.
CRYSTAL: Thick beveled glass. Clear and no scratches.
CASE: Ibelieveit is Nickel Plate. Shows normal wear and the kiss of age.One very small ding on therear cover.Cosmeticallyin very good shape.Therear cover opens to less than 90 degrees.Both covers and bezel snap shut to a tight fit.Rear cover is marked with the letter“A” and the number“24”and repeated on the case body.Case Serial No. 100768.
CROWN/BOW: The large crown shows no wear and the large bow is tight.
