A good and interesting antique Chinese ( Canton ) enamel on copper box. Of beautiful moulded, ribbed or \'petal\' form and well decorated in the Famille Rose palette.
Very much in the late 18th Century style (Qianlong) but probably a little later and mid 19th Century.
The panel to the lid decorated with a terrace scene depicting a high ranking official, waited upon by attendants. The sides of the box with an intricate design of flowers and scrollage.
Well drawn and with very attractive coloration.

Approx 6.5 cms tall x 9 cms diameter.
Condition:
With old restoration throughout - mainly to shaped rim and lid, as shown. Old restoration now showing discolouration, as shown. Chip to enamel to inside lid, as shown. Small chip / blow to enamel on side, as shown. Some wear, chipping and hairline to enamel, as shown.
That said, still an attractive box and of very nice moulded form / shape.
