DESCRIPTIONEvery collector needs at least one card from the famed Raphael Tuck, and this ADOOOOOORABLE school boy is a heartwarming place to begin. This stand up card with a googly-eyed school boy just makes you smile when looking at his big toothy grin. \"Wouldn\'t U like to B my sweetheart?\" is his question written in chalk on his little slate board.
The Raphael Tuck pedigree (also indicating this was printed in Germany) is printed on the back side.

We have been collecting large, Victorian era, 3-dimensional, German, die-cut Valentines for over 40 years. Our private collection of more 300 fold out cards include mechanical cards that pop-up to display airplanes, cars, trains, ships, and children and/or animals in various scenes with Cupid. Some of the cards were acquired from the private collection of Evalene Pulati, founder of theNational Valentine Collectors Association.
We have NEVER purchased reproductions or cards that were \"harvested\" from vintage scrap books. The backside of each card is original and without glue damage. Most bends or tears to a card have been meticulously restored with age appropriate paper to help minimize depreciation of value. ALL cards have been stored on acid free foam core in a climate controlled Environment, and will be shipped to the new buyer with the acid free mount.
