Description: This Gorgeous 1900 Frances Brundage Advertising Calendar with Darling Little Girls is lovely. Brundage was born Frances Isabelle Lockwood on June 28, 1854 in Newark, New Jersey, to Rembrandt Lockwood and Sarah Ursula Despeaux. Her father was an architect, a wood engraver, and an artist who painted church murals, portraits, and miniatures. Brundage received her art education from her father, and, at the age of seventeen, was forced to earn a living from her art after Lockwood abandoned his family. She sold her first professional work – a sketch illustrating a poem by Louisa May Alcott – to the author.

Each page has two months on them. Each page has a name for the little girl on the page. For example, on the first page, the child is named \"Priseilla\". There is also a saying from a well known author. For eample, on the first page \" Puritan flowers\", he said, \"and the type of Puritan maidens, Modest and simple and sweet, the very type of Priseilla.\" Longfellow was the author. The ad on the back is for Richelieu Olives, Catsup, chocolate, shredded cocoanut, cocoa, gelatine, deviled ham, and salad dressing. There is a repair on the back of this page.

The third page has a little girl named \"The Governor\'s Daughter\". The saying is by Oliver Wendell Homes. The little girl is dressed in a pretty pink party dress. On the back is an ad for Richelieu for salad dressing, root beer, coffee, ginger ale, and baking powder. There is a repair on the back of this page.
