Offered for sale: Sheer antique beautifully made Edwardian net lace dress with embroidery and lace details. Has a built in slip. Large bow in the back. It\'s in very good condition for it\'s age, but of course has flaws as it is 100+ years old. It has yellowed with age and has some stains. Noticed a hole at the bust (see close up picture) and a few small pin head sized holes too. The silk stripes have shredded in places as is common with antique silk. And I wouldn\'t suggest wearing it because it could easily be damaged, but it measures a 25 inch waist, 30 inch bust and is 49 1/4 inches long from the top to the bottom of the skirt.Dress fastens with snaps throughout as well as hook/eyes at the waist. Some snaps are coming undone and will need to bere-sewn on.Leaving a cleaning up to it\'s new owner. This is a beautiful dress and would look gorgeous on display!
