Here on offer is agorgeous antique Japanese Meiji koyosegi(marquetry), lacquer andmother of pearl cabinet.

This box featuring a design inkoyosegi, a mosaic of Japanese wood; many natural woods are used for thekoyosegi pattern. This box is made by skilful craftsman called \"HiroyukiOka\". The doors of the box have a finish of black lacquer that is inlaid withengraved mother of pearl flowers and butterflies.

The base of the cabinet has a single draw, above are the two lacquereddoors. The doors open to reveal four more draws. The box retains the originalmetal fittings, many of which are beautifully engraved. The fittings to thedoors have some of the pins missing, one of the hinges is damaged and the keyis missing. The cabinet displays well.

This wonderful cabinet isoffered in good used antique condition, it measures about 21cm by 11.1cm by18.8cm and weighs 907g.
