This thimble is carved from solid Lapis Lazuli, a deep blue metamorphic rock that has been used as a semi-precious stone since the time of the Pharaohs. It\'sin mint condition, with no damage.
Note: Because these photos are greatly enlarged, any scratch or ding shows up more than it does in real life.
