Being offered for sale is this Gorgeous... Fancy Carved Rosewood American Victorian SofaCirca1865. This beautiful period sofa has a highly carved center crest of fruit and a grape cluster amidst scroll carvings with lovely floral and foliate carvings on the sides, carved arm supports with carvings at the knees, and a carved serpentine seat rail with the porcelain casters intact on all four feet. Thegold velvet fabric is rich and beautiful with no issues noted and appears to have been well taken care of.This sofa is tight and solid and in fabulous antique condition just needing a home to be placed in to be cherished and admired for many more years to come offering all the elegance and splendor of the Victorian era.
