I am offering a gorgeous, 100% hand stitched quilt that is vintage and has never been used!
It appears to be all cotton fabrics. The fabrics are so bright, colorful and vibrant. It was lovingly made one stitch at a time then it was stored away for years and was recently discovered again!
The quilt measures 73\'\' wide X 107\'\' long.
I have photographed it on a twin bed and as you can see, it nearly reaches the floor all the way around. I even have it tucked under and covering a thick pillow and the foot end still reaches to the ground. So it is plenty large enough for a twin but I think it was actually made for a Full/Double size bed.
Each flower is a different color scheme using tiny printed fabrics that could possibly have been feed/flour sacks. I am not a quilt expert so this might not be accurate, but they do look like vintage flour sack patterns to me. There are lots of pastel colors, but also some brights and they just all go together so well.
Each stitch is very tiny using white thread. I have tried to take close-up photos of some of the stitching so you can evaluate & appreciate the handmade aspect of this pretty quilt. I can\'t find any sewing that appears machine done. I cannot imagine how many hundreds of hours this must have taken the woman that made it. It was treasured and kept well preserved.
The reverse side is a white cotton fabric. Solid in color. The edges are scalloped and looks very pretty hanging down the sides of the bed.

I can find no rips, tears, holes, stains or pulled areas. 100% in tact and strong seams. No funky odors. It is ready to display and enjoy immediately upon receiving it.
