This pen is an upgrade Gold and Chrome Ultra Cigar twist pen. The Ultra cigar pen kit uses a Parker type refill and this writes really nice and has a good heft and feel and it a larger diameter pen for surebut isn\'t so big that it too big for most hands. Its a really nice upgrade with some really nice bling vs the standard Cigar pen without being gaudy.

The exotic material on this pen is made from some beautiful double dyed Blue Box Elder Burl that I call starry night since it reminds us of Van Gogh\'s background in his Starry night painting. It\'s a rather lengthy process to dye and stabilize this wood but but wow is it gorgeous on this kit.It has so much character with bright colors and natural grain of the highly figured Box Elder burl that was dyed this gorgeous multi color hues withtextures that pop out in this really funky piece

on this one of kind treasure with it’s glassy smooth finish that has been sanded and polished by hand with 12000 grit micro mesh to a high luster. It then got 12 layers of super hard and durable CA finish followed by a wet polishing process and then2 layers of the world’s best, albeit very expensive but awesome friction wax.This is truly one of kind and pictures do not do this pen justice.

TheUltra pen uses aParker ink or gelrefill.You can pick up the refills at most office supply stores or if you need additional refills, I keep a small supply that I can sell you.

I only make 1 or 2 pens a day and each and every one is handcraft by me in my shop. The pen you see in the listing is the pen you will receive. I will happily make a custom pen of just about any kind and from just about any wood or just about any material you could choose and because of my low volume I can get to it pretty quickly.I do not use and duplication tool so each pen is a 1 of kind original.I hand pick from over 30 species of gorgeous wood from all over the world for its grain, spalt, burl, and just unique characteristics.The pen started out in my shop as a rough piece of wood which goes through amany step process to produce a one of a kind working piece of art. Every pen that I make is different in shape, color and pattern.The pens are made from a solid piece ofwood with the grain oriented to match between the two barrels of the pen. It was turned by hand on my lathe in my small shop by me.

My pens are 1stquality and painstakingly made and have a really nice heft and feel and are a real pleasure to write with and the make excellent gifts but be advised that once you get one of these in your hands you wont want to part with it.Some gift ideas include:
