I purchased this beautiful 19th century Victorian era bench from someone who acquired it from a wealthy Philadelphia estate. It is deeply carved and very solid. The upholstery is a heavy tapestry and is likely not original. The wood finish is original. There is a small piece broken off of the back which could use touch up. It is the only visible damage I can see, and is clearly shown in the photo. It measures 49\"W x 24\"D x 27\"H. The seat height is approx 17.5\". This is a gorgeous treasure and a rare find.
