Firstly, let me say that vintage items are items previously owned and worn. I am not referring to a specific period when I say vintage. I am falling into line with a lot of people who call used items \"vintage\" although in my own mind vintage means antique. So, I will add further information about a piece if I have further details. For example, if the item is genuine Art Deco, I will say so.
A gorgeous buckle made from gold plated metal. The plating has worn off over time so the metal now has an aged patina. Buckle looks like it is Czech to me but there are no markings. It is approx. 2 3/4 inches across the whole item by 3/4 inches deep. Both sections are the same and they join at the centre. Each has a large square dark blue stone which is set to look like a diamond. The stones are prong set with lots of prongs. The stones have lots of facet cuts with the tops having a square shaped design so far as the facets are concerned. The metal work is decorative and there is a small round prong set rhinestone at each corner, making four stones in total on each section. Stones are dark blue, green, amber and red. In very good vintage condition. Very pretty.Postage and Packaging is £4.00.
