Featured in this sale is a vintage EarlyCarnelian footed flower frog made by Roseville somewhere in the 1910\'s or 1920\'s. Thisclassic example of early Roseville is unmarked.This piece has a beautifully-round, domed design with three feet and 16 stem holes.The frog is in very-good-to-excellent condition with glaze drips, tiny pinholes, and a sliver of a chip at the edge of one foot, but there are no other chips, nocracks, only mild crazing and no repairs.This gorgeous finish is arusset-colored underglaze with a matte green overdrip that has produced abeautiful mottled effect. The drip glazes are rich and vibrant, and the flow of the glazes is visible on thebase along with stilt marks. In fact, there are glaze drips and flakes at the base rim that are visible along with the grinding on the base to level the piece.This piece is 3-1/2\" wide and1-3/4\" tall.
