Beautiful art piece that is also functional. Gold accents appear to be hand painted. The striking gold flowers on the front are in excellent condition. Their shine automatically draws the eye in.
From the bottom to the top of the shade hanger it is 26\". 6\" wide at largest point. (Shade not included, so body of lamp itself is around 20\" tall).
The alabaster-like material / enamel is in almost perfect shape. There are two or three tiny imperfections/spots on the the sides of the lamp (not noticeable unless you look closely--too small to easily capture in pictures). Also, the gold rings at the top are a bit worn (those at the bottom are in better shape), and there is minor tarnishing on the brass or brass-plated lamp base. (see picture two)
Overall, the gilt / gold painting on the well-finished front is so stunning and in such remarkable condition that it\'s unlikely any flaws will take away from its appearance. In fact, I think they give the piece \"credibility\" as a hand painted vintage / antique piece which adds to its beauty.
This lamp would look great with a variety of colors. The gold, white, and brass are all basic colors that will complement almost any decor.
