Gorgeous antique Victorian engraved Silver brooch B\'ham 1894 by WJ Holmes:

This is a gorgeous antique Victorian Silver brooch. It is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1894, maker WJH (William J Holmes). It has beenprofessionallycleaned by a jeweller.
It has a beautiful ornate design, with fine embossed beading on either side of the central oval, which has engraved leaves.
It is in very good condition, and measures 1 and 5/8th inches across.
Now a little information about postage.
Most jewellery items come in new black cardboard or plastic jewellery boxes, with white wadding, and bubble wrap, for extra safety. These are then sent in jiffy bags, so all items should be very secure. The only exceptions to this are more delicate items, glass, china etc., that need added protection. These are sent in solid jewellery boxes, sometimes used, but always in very good condition. If you want an item for a present, and need a special box, do let me know, as I can normally find something appropriate to send it in.As always, I am happy to combine postage on any items that are paid for at the same time.Please note that I can no longer send items ordinary airmail to Italy, as many items have gone missing in the post, the cost of which I have had to cover myself.
