Wow.

I love vintage moonstone jewellery as the moonstones have that beautiful, floating blue adularescence which is just not seen in modern moonstone jewellery unless you pay a premium.

It is a beautiful natural oval stone, simply claw set in a simple sterling silver bar with some hand engraved detail.

All handmade and well made, I estimate this piece dates back to the 1940s and is in great condition.

The stone is completely intact, of beautiful, floating blue colour (adularescence to be specific) and is approx. 9mm long, 6mm wide and 5mm deep.

The whole brooch is 3.9mm long, not marked but fully tested and guaranteed to be solid sterling silver, NOT plated, lined or filled.

The pin is \"French style\" with the cylinder push in mechanism to prevent the pin from becoming undone.

Beautifully handmade and gorgeous.
