An antique sterling silver card case with chain by Gorham with applied mixed metals copper leaves on one side and a winged horse on the reverse. Finely engraved Japanese style motifs on both sides including a butterfly.Monogrammed as shown.Light gold wash. Original calling cards inside. Length 3 5/8\" by 2 1/2\". Very good condition. Marked lion, anchor, G, C. C on one side and Sterling & Other metals, N, the date letter for 1881on the other.
