This is a wonderful piece that I\'ve kept in my personal collection for many years. It\'s a wonderful macaroni server in Gorham\'s multi-motif Japanese pattern. This piece has crisp pattern definition, from the imperial chrysanthemum at the tip of the handle, the nesting bird, etc. and then beautiful hand engraved decoration on the blade. There\'s an alternating hatch pattern on the central rib, a demi-lune with the imperial chrysanthemum again, as well as more decoration on each of the teeth. Just a sublime piece. Overall condition is excellent -- there is are a couple of minor pits on the blade (that are exaggerated in the bright photographic light), and a nicely done entwined monogram on the back.

Marks:Gorham\'s \"Lion, Anchor, G\" hallmarks plus \"STERLING\".

Measurements: About 10 3/8\" in length, 3\" wide across the blade.
