A fine 1917 Gorham sterling silver hand decorated tea kettle on stand, with original burner
Pattern A6421.
An entire web site is devoted to identifying the pattern, as yet unsuccessful.
The design is similar to Chantilly-Grand.
More extensively chased, slightly different finial, & handle design
and supported atop wavy leaf crown rolling vine feet.
The kettle in oval shape with hand chased leaf and floral to corners,
and flower and sweeping vine framed center.
Overhead swing handle.
Cover with tureen shaped vine scroll and leafy bed finial.
Vine cape wavy scroll tip feet.
Matching stand with leaf cap supports with shell and flower center,
original burner with butterfly cover and original finial to handle, vented.
Stand atop conforming leafy crown rolled scroll tip fit
united by twin vine and shell panel.
Never monogrammed.
This Gorham sterling silver coffee pot is 13 inches
and the complete weighs 60 1/2 standard ounces.
In fine condition. Interior clean as if little or never used.
