Antique casket plate, Grand Army of the Republic. Very hard to find, since almost all of these are in the ground attached to a veterans casket. This plaque was overstock, never used, was from out of business funeral home which had been around for about 150 years . This antique casket plaque features the Grand Army of the Republic emblem. Measures about 3 1/4\" X 4 3/4\" - Made of brass in a brushed nickel look, intricate pressed / stamped emblem. These were manufactured by Strong MFG Co, Winsted, Connecticut.
