This is a beautiful antique photo album with a music box. The album is mounted on a stand, which houses the music box. The stand measures approx. 10\" wide x 12\" high. It is in antique aged condition. The bottom of the stand is missing one little foot. The music box does work. It plays \"The Liberty Bell March\" .There are about 28 images (cabinet cards) . There is one blank frame. There are several adorable photos of Victorian era children. There are a couple of interesting inclusions in the album apart from the family photos. There are several items relating to Dr. W.H. Long (Diamond Jack). I believe he was a medicine healer and his nickname is The Great Disease Detective. I am thinking this is from a vaudeville act. There is an newspaper clipping of an obituary for a judge from 1904. There is a William McKinley image. Seventeen of the frames that hold the photos are ripped on the bottoms from the pictures being inserted or removed. The cover looks like it is darkened with age and it is a darker color than the base. There is a crack in part of the celluloid on the cover and the oval frame around the image on the cover also is staring to come up in one section. There is a velvet spine and base which is worn.
