This gorgeous Chad Valley/Chiltern Teddy Bear would make an excellent addition to a vintage bear collection.
Label on his side clearly reads “Chad Valley/Chiltern Hygienic Toys, Made in England.” dating teddy to circa 1967.
Teddy measures 18\" from foot pads to tips of ears.
Original stitched nose and mouth.
His dark honey-coloured plush is in wonderful condition.
His overall condition is excellentand Rexine pads are alsoin good condition.
He is a chunky, sturdy guy with a thick, firm body and a wide head, typical of the Chad Valley style. His face has a lot of character.
He has a workingsqueaker at the front if you get the right position and pressfirmly.
Teddy is five way jointed and all joints are firm.
He is extremely clean and has no strange odors, holes, rips, tears, stains or other defects.
