Some of these paper dolls are heavy. The shipping might seem high, but please remember the weight of these guys. I will combine shipping and refund any overage.
My mom loved fashion and anything associated with it. So naturally she loved paper dolls also. She had a large paper doll collection that I will be listing. Most of the paper dolls are uncut. I will list the condition of each one I list. Like the dolls, this is time consuming.
I will be listing the remainder of my mom\'s collection. I mailed back 27 large boxes. From this trip I will be listing Madame Alexander (old & new), Vogue dolls, Terri Lee\'s, Barbie (old and new), early doll dishes, some old children\'s books, Barbie Bazaar magazines, Miller\'s magazines, paper dolls, comic books and some other antique items.
My Mother was Bendia Cushing. She passed away May of 2013 from a short battle with Breast Cancer. My mom was very active in the Barbie doll world in California. She went to many doll shows and conventions all over the united states. She collected a lot of different things. She always wanted to open a museum with her collection, but sadly that never happened.
My mom liked to store her dolls in old suit cases and trunks. These dolls are old, they\'ve been at my mom\'s house for decades. They are not perfect, some need to be restrung. The heat in the attic took it\'s toll on some of the rubber bands inside the dolls. (My mom lived in California)I will try to list any defects that I see.
With that being said, I am not a expert on any of her collection. She knew her stuff, I do not. I always try to list the items at fair starting amounts. I will add as many pictures and describe the items to the best of my ability. I do combine shipping and I will always refund any overage of postage. Sometimes I have been known to make a error on the shipping, I will always correct any errors I make. I will ship out of the country as long as the buyer is ok with the shipping costs and the add time it takes to get to you.
