Fine antique majolica Tobacco jar depicts an American Indian Chief measuring 6\" high and 4\"+ wide. The age I would put around 1880-90.Though it not marked Germany it is however marked with factory numbers ( 84 6665 ).This definitely a German piece of Majolica.Condition is great it has one tiny flake on the back where the head dress sits on the head and a spot on the underside of the lid which is missing some paint but is not a chip, also there is a spot near the bottom on the side where the glaze must have stuck to another humidor when it was originally fired..The painting could not be better,the face is a work of art….GOOD LUCK
