Great vintage 1897 Washburn “New Model” 423 Auditorium Guitar – hard shell case:

A great old guitar! Slightly bigger body: 141/2\" lower bout, 10 1/4\" upper bout. Professionally restored 10 years ago by formerowner.

Features: Sprucetop; Brazilian rosewood back & sides and headstock overlay; cedar neck;stamped “1897 Style” inside; 19-fret ebony fingerboard with 3 pearl engravedinlays at frets 7, 9 & 12; fingerboard bound with white celluloid; ebonyflattened pyramid bridge; bone nut; bound with white celluloid and coloredlines front & back; herringbone patterns & rings around sound hole;inlaid backstrip (three colored lines). Inside paper label torn away. Serialnumber 15356.

Details: Minor wear to frets andfretboard; neck nice and tight to body with nice action; some work looks likeit was done to the sides (shows some fading & surface crackling); a couplecracks in back repaired as well back but hardly noticeable and fully secure.

The sticker mostly torn away and missing.Can see numbers 15356 stamped on inside back of neck block and on top ofheadstock.

All in all, a well-preserved guitar with a finedeep tone.

Comes with nice old hard shell case in goodcondition
