This is an original French"Mode pratique" womens magazineof fashion pub. in Paris during World War 1 in October 1914 no.44 -with a sewing pattern supplement for a boys shirt

The pattern is on dress making tissue paper which is cut out ready to use-Please note seams allowances aren\'t given. Instructions are on page 594 of the magazine.

The 10 black and white illustrated pages of the large format magazine(it measures 10 ins x 14ins) include different dresses,outfits,hats,and embroidery work. The pages are yellowed and theres a small corner piece missing from the front page. Over 20 dresses/outfits in total are illustrated , but the actual patterns for these are not included. There is a page of furs and articles about the War including the sick bed, and knitting patterns for soldiers socks.
