We are offering for sale afinesetof 6Gorham Sterling silverdessert spoons inthe highly sought after New Queens Pattern.

Thesespoons are inlovelypolished condition with the double struckQueens pattern decorationbeing crisp throughout. Thefront of the handleterminals are engraved with a monogram - all 6 bear the same initials, but for some reason one had been engraved horizontally, whereas the others are vertical.

This pattern is very similar to the popular English flatware pattern known as Queen\'s. It was introduced by Gorham in 1895 and the Gorham marks help date the set to a five year window between 1895 and 1900.

MEASUREMENTS: 18.1cm (7.1\") long;342grams (11 tr.oz.) combinedweight.

MARKS: For Gorham Manufacturing, made in Providence Rhode Island, USA circa 1895. The Gorham marks on these pieces were used in the late 19th century until 1900.
