Greco Roland G505 Synth Guitar Controller w/ C-24G 24\' 24-Pin Cable GR300 Japan:
$1399.00

Offered is a vintage 1980s Roland G-505 Analog Synth Guitar Controller complete with an NOS Roland C-24G 24-feet 24-pin cable. Both are in prestine condition for their age, as pictured. The guitar is made in Japan by Fujigen / Greco for Roland and is the rare metallic blue version special ordered with slab rosewood fretboard (these are usually shipped with maple boards). The uber-rare 24-pin cable is the last of Roland\'s new old stock MIJ using Tajimi connectors and Mogami wires and is compatible with Roland guitar controllers including the G-202, G-303, G-505, and G-808. The controller is compatible with Roland 24-pin guitar synths including the GR300, one of the best tracking guitar synths available to this day - a Mini Moog for the guitar that features a super clean hex fuzz that can cut thru any mix. Made famous by Robert Fripp, Pat Metheny, Eric Clapton, Andy Summers, Neal Schon, etc. If you\'ve been looking for one of these, here\'s a good one.Roland G-505 Controller Features and Specifications:Body: Ash

Weight: 7 lbs 3 ozI collected this set for the studio with plans to track down a vintage GR300 and complete the setup. However, time and financial constraints forces sale. The original owner-collector rarely played it. Amazing neck, plays and sounds like a great Strat should. The guitar\'s passive pickups and controls work and sound beautifully. I do not have a GR300 to test the controller\'s synth functionality, and was told by the original owner that everything works fine except for the Low E synth pickup which is not always responsive. I have no way to test or verify this but am describing what I was told in the interest of full disclosure. The guitar should probably be fine tuned and setup by the new owner to achieve its full potential. Please keep this in mind when purchasing. The set also includes the original GR (Greco Roland) black tolex hardshell case as pictured. There\'s a small crack on the bottom lid of the guitar case near the rear latch. It\'s been taped over and does not affect functionality. Please review all pictures carefully as they\'re an integral part of the item description.Terms: Please contact me for payment options.
